Day 2: Awesome Photo Gifts

November 30, 2013  •  Leave a Comment

Day 2 and today's topic, the Christmas card!

#1. For the Crafter: Homemade photo cards ~

  • Uses: Keeping in touch
  • Cost: Low
  • Expertise Level: Easy/Medium
  • Why it's awesome: You can make them super personalized. Some fun ideas for your cards:
  • Use upcycled materials (old book pages, buttons, ribbons)
  • Let the kids join in, the cards won't look perfect but sometimes that is half the fun
  • If you are into scrapbooking, use that expertise to make a mini card collage. Takes a little more time but can make an awesome piece of art in the end.

#2. For the Shopper: Photo cards

  • Uses: Keeping in touch
  • Cost: About $1.20/card (sold in sets of 25)
  • Ease of use: Easy, 1-4 photos per card
  • Why it's awesome: They are adorable, easy, and there are a ton of styles. Plus, you can order them straight from your gallery so you don't have to worry about re-uploading photos. There are also a number of different textures you can choose from to give your photos an extra pop. Like my favorite "pearl", because it is shiny! And with the deals I have going now if you order $75+ you can get free shipping on your order. Or if you haven't scheduled your session yet, you can book it online and receive $30 in print credit, which is enough for one 25 pack. I am flexible with my sessions so I can still fit in a few pre-holiday sessions.

And don't forget about the awesome deals you can score this week only! (November 29th-December 6th)

Have a great day!
